In an instant,
We were in love.
We did everything together.
We laughed,
We cried,
We smiled,
We loved,
And other emotions
In between.
We shared everything.
Those were the happiest
Days of our lives.
We promised to be together.
Forever.
But the blossom of our
Love stopped growing.
Then one day,
We drifted apart.
Thinking of you
Made my heart bleed.
Having you in my thoughts
And dreams, made everything
Painful.
But we know that we
Must move on and
Continue being strong.
Even if we forget
The memories we had
During those wonderful
And blissful days,
We will never forget
The love that we had
For each other.

Hold on tight to what was good, nothing in life can ever take that from you. And, learn from the things that didn't work and don't do them ever again. By doing this, you not only become better, you make that small part of your life a tribute to the person that taught you that lesson. I don't need to say that the poem is beautiful.
